How to Enable Monetization in YouTube?

Enabling monetization in YouTube is a walk in the park. But you will have to struggle a lot if you keep on uploading copied videos. You should have original videos to earn some bucks as YouTube does not allow anyone to monetize from copied content.

Read the steps I have listed below to know how to enable monetization in YouTube.

Step 1: Go to YouTube website and click Sign in. Then, enter your login credentials carefully so that, you will not end up being broke due to error notices.

Step 2: Now, you have to access video manager. Click your username icon on the top right portion of the screen and choose the same name from a list given to the dropdown menu.

Step 3: You can see a set of checkboxes and stats here. You need to click Channel settings to proceed further to know how to enable monetization in YouTube.

Step 4: As you can see in the image, next step is to choose Enable my account given under Monetization heading.

Step 5: You will be shown YouTube agreement to accept their policy to monetize your content on their platform.

Step 6: Next step is to select videos you want to monetize. Never tick those which contain even a short copied clip.

Step 7: After choosing the videos, click on Actions. You will get a set of options. Select Monetize from there.

Step 8: Now, you have to choose ad formats for each and every video you selected. Quite a few ad formats are there. You can choose any one of them based on your likes.

Step 9: Finally, click Monetize and follow some prompts to complete the process. You will see a green $ sign with monetized tag for the approved videos.
